Nesting! Nesting! Includes getting blog in gear!

"Renae, when are you going to make a blog for your pregnancy?" Is the question I keep getting asked. The pregnancy is flying by, and with only 11 weeks left I figured I better get started.

So this is my online form of nesting, getting this happy little blog established so I can post pictures and sweet nothings about baby boy Jones for the world to read and ooh and ahh... Plus everyone hates those over-sharing mommies on Facebook...

Jesse and I are needless to say VERY excited to welcome a little man to our family! And we are happy to be living in the lovely Boulder CO which will be a great place to have a little one. Baby J isn't the first grandchild, he will be joining a duo of cousins who are handsome little mischief-makers / fun-havers: Drake Jay Jones, age 1.5, and Brock Andrew Healy, age 6 months. I doubt that Baby J will EVER get into ANY trouble when hanging out with his cousins!

Here are my fascinating and thrilling PREGNANCY STATS, for those who don't have iPhones apps to tell you the fruit and vegetable sizes of my growing bundle of joy:

Due Date: January 2, 2012
Countdown: 11 weeks, 3 days.
Trimester: 3rd and final
Baby size: Small Cabbage (17 in, 2.9 lbs)
Weight gain: HA! Like I would ever post that online!
Current mood: Happy and carefree
Cravings: Chocolate milk

I'm working on the nursery and we are going with a dinosaur theme, colors are gray, lime green, and blue. I just got back from MO from a lovely weekend of baby showers and am able to start getting serious! I was inspired by some cool nursery blogs, links are below.

Here is the crib that I finally was able to put sheets on last night, thanks to all the lovely gifts I got from everyone it is starting to look like a real baby room!

And 15 minutes later after the last dinosaur was in place, a sneaky critter showed up and started trying to take over the crib as his own, and he even batted a stegosaurus loose from the mobile. BAD CAT!!

He is giving us the stink eye, when really it should be US giving HIM the stink eye. (Yes, we kicked him out immediately after taking this picture). Sigh, will have to work on this. Not acceptable, Ned!

Nursery inspirations:

Lots more to do on the nursery, will post more pics as we get closer to finishing it up, but wanted to share the crib at least for now!
